PSA Video and Description
The making of my PSA video was a process. My video is about child soldiers in Africa. The main theme is love. To make this my theme, I chose a song to put in the video that expressed love and mentioned love many times throughout my video. There were a few different programs that I used. The programs that I used were all on the ipad, they were: scribble, google sites, google images, imovie and 2conv. I used scribble to write some of the text on the screen. To find pictures for my video, I used google images. Also, I used google sites to look up facts on child soldiers from my africa resource page. Imovie was the program that I used to make my video. 2conv, a music converter, was the source of my music. I took the link of a song from youtube and then I put it into 2conv and downloaded it into my google drive. Google drive helped me alot with saving music, images and downloading my PSA video onto my chromebook to submit into EDU. Getting feedback from other teachers and student greatly improved my video. It helped me revise it and add things to my video to improve it. There were many challenges that I had during making my video. Those challenges were: finding correct pacing of slides, ending the video well and not abrupt, finding a correct volume of the music, finding music to compliment my theme and the text in my video to catch the attention of the viewer. Although I had obstacles while making this video, I overcame them well and my video turned out good. Overall, I enjoyed making my video and learning more about the topic, child soldiers in africa, for my video.
